On May 23, at the invitation of Head of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi, the delegation led by Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Eduard Hovhannisyan paid a two-day visit to Tehran to discuss the issues on expansion of the cooperation between the State Revenue Committee and the Customs Administration.

As reported the State Revenue Committee, the parties discussed the course of modernization of the Meghri border checkpoint.

The delegation led by the Committee’s chairman also had a meeting with President of the Iranian National Tax Administration Omid Ali Parsa.

The heads of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia and the Iranian National Tax Administration attached importance to the need for expansion of cooperation between the tax authorities of Armenia and Iran.
