President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has assigned the country’s government to draft a decision on terminating air communication with Belarus due to the incident that took place on May 23, as reported in the decision stated in the press release of the presidential press service.

According to the source, during a consultation with Zelensky, the attendees analyzed the events in regard to the Ryanair passenger plane that made an emergency landing at the airport in Minsk, and taking into consideration the situation created, the President assigned government officials to draft a decision to terminate direct flights to and from Ukraine and Belarus and close the airspace for Belarus.
