On May 24 at around 5:40 p.m., according to preliminary data, 19-year-old fixed-term serviceman of a military unit, Private Mkrtich Hovhannisyan received a lethal firearm injury after a gunshot fired as a result of violation of the rules for use of a weapon, as reported the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
Investigation is underway.
