Two days ago, the Azerbaijanis advanced further along the length of the border and a little more towards Gorayk, even if it is a little. According to him, the situation in Syunik Province remains stable and tense. “If things continue like this a little longer, I believe the residents of the province will start adapting to the situation where Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces are in Armenia’s territory and a few kilometers away from them. I would like to state that representatives of the Ministry of Defense and government officials are losing control, and the negotiations are almost in a deadlock, if not already. Based on my information, the authorities don’t know what to do since they have missed the moment when they could have solved the issue by force,” Hakobyan said and claimed that there are over 1,000 Azerbaijani soldiers scattered there as we speak.

“If the Ministry of Defense refutes the news again, I will bring other arguments. However, the Ministry of Defense was right when it refuted and said there are over 1,000 soldiers,” the ex-governor said.
