President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacote.

As reported the press service of the President of Armenia, Sarkissian and Lacote touched upon the situation on Armenia’s border, Azerbaijan’s encroachments on the territorial integrity of Armenia, as well as the speedy return of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians being kept in Azerbaijan.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on regional security and stability issues and the current agenda of bilateral ties.
