YEREVAN. – There is currently no discussion on declaring martial law and canceling the elections. Lilit Makunts, leader of the My Step majority faction at the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, on Wednesday told this to reporters in the NA, when asked whether the snap parliamentary elections of June 20 could be canceled due to current border tensions.

Makunts expressed hope that there would be no such occurrence, and the relevant departments are doing their best to prevent such a thing from happening.
