Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan today  sent letters to the Speakers of partnering parliaments, presenting them the inadmissible and ongoing encroachments on the sovereign territory of Armenia by Azerbaijan and the latest provocation of the Azerbaijani side, as a result of which six Armenian servicemen were captured in the territory of the Republic of Armenia and one Armenian serviceman was killed the day before.

Ararat Mirzoyan warned his counterparts that such behavior of Azerbaijan seriously puts the fragile stability in the region at risk. According to this, the Speaker of the Parliament called on his counterparts to demand the immediate return of the Armenian servicemen and withdrawal of the Azerbaijani side from the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
