On June 1, the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) and Impact Hub Yerevan will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to the MoU, GO-Biz will establish a trade and services desk at Impact Hub in Yerevan and will promote and support trade and investments between California and Armenia. The trade and services desk will also contribute to the growth of innovation and business between the two parties and provide entrepreneurs with common interests with the opportunity to establish sustainable, strategic and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Armenia’s High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan says Armenia gladly welcomes the opening of the trade and services desk in Yerevan and is willing to cooperate.

The ceremony for the virtual signing of the MoU will be held on June 1 at 7 p.m. Armenia time through a live broadcast on the Facebook page of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and will feature speeches by High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan, California Lt. Governor Eleni Koualakis, California State Senator Anthony Portantino, California State Assembly Member Adrin Nazarian and member of the Board of Trustees of Impact Hub Yerevan Raffi Kassarjian.
