YEREVAN. – Negotiations on Nagorno-Karabachos are in deadlock and will come out of it only if Karabakh joins the process of negotiations, chairman of European Integration NGO Karen Bekaryan told journalists.
“The resolution is simple: whoever is for the status quo, is against Karabakh to join the negotiations,” expert told and added that a real split is possible only if Azerbaijan becomes a democratic state and negotiates directly with Karabakh.
According to Bekaryan, after Kazan meeting, it is possible that negotiations would be activated again under the possibility of war. The expert, however, stressed that Armenian army is the main guarantee of security of the nation.
