YEREVAN. – The voter lists will be published at the polling stations on May 31, and these lists can also be downloaded from the website of the authorized body. Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia said this during Saturday’s special session of the CEC, in connection with the preparations for the snap parliamentary elections to be held in the country on June 20.

According to him, all the electoral lists will be published as soon as possible, and the MP candidates on  these lists can submit their petition for self-withdrawal by 6pm on June 10.

"There is activeness in [the capital] Yerevan city for the past day or two; new [election] posters are appearing. I would like to inform that the CEC will discuss this issue immediately after registration. And if there [still] are [such] posters that are not removed voluntarily by the 6th of the month, there are working discussions with the local self-government bodies and the Yerevan Municipality, and all possible measures will be taken—on the 7th of the month—in connection with removing those posters as soon as possible," Mukuchyan added.
