YEREVAN. – We hope that as a result of the [snap parliamentary] elections [on June 20], the Civil Contract Party will receive 60% of the votes by the voters. Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this at a meeting with fellow party members Saturday at capital Yerevan’s Nork Marash district office of the ruling Civil Contract Party.
"This is necessary so that we open the era of that peaceful development because we do not need other scenarios. Elections must take place, and we must fully return to our security, economic, and social issues," Pashinyan added.
