This war could not have happened, it was a consequence of the policy of the authorities, Armenian ex-president Robert Kocharyan noted.

"They are participants in all this. I am sure that the war could not have happened, the war should not have started. It was their policy that led to the inevitability of war. But if the war had already begun, we should not have lost. A series of wrong, stupid or conspiratorial steps led to this defeat," Kocharyan said.
