YEREVAN. – There can be no talk of any processes in connection with border delimitation as long as the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces have not left the territory of Armenia. Lilit Makunts, head of the parliamentary majority faction of the My Step ruling bloc, stated this Monday during the traditional briefings at the National Assembly.

In her opinion, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's plan to de-escalate the situation on the border has received a positive response in a number of countries, including the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries—Russia, US, and France. "Now we have to wait for Baku's response. Before announcing his initiative, Pashinyan discussed it with the competent bodies and did not receive any objections," Makunts said.

As for the deployment of international observers to the Sotk-Khoznavar section, according to the ruling bloc MP, the respective statement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs is, in fact, an expression of readiness to send their specialists.

However, as Makunts noted, no specific discussion on the issue of observers has taken place, as Azerbaijan has not yet expressed its position in this regard. "The Armenian side is making every effort to oversee the situation," she added.
