Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on Thursday will head for Kazakhstan on a working visit.

During the visit, President Sarkissian is scheduled to meet with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, First President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the parliamentary leadership.

Armenian-Kazakh cooperation and interstate relations, as well as cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be discussed during these meetings.

The problems and challenges that have emerged in Armenia and the region after the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war last fall will also be discussed.
