YEREVAN. – At Thursday's Cabinet session, the interim government approved the proposal to sign an amendment to the Infrastructure and Rural Finance Support Programme (IRFSP) funding agreement between Armenia and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

The loan amount within the framework of this agreement is $11 million, and the grant is €350 thousand.

The goal of the IRFSP is to improve the socioeconomic situation of the population in selected poorer rural areas, providing them with sustainable employment opportunities and income growth.
