By adopting government decisions, the Armenian authorities are actually busy bribing voters. This is what representative of the campaign headquarters of “Armenia” bloc Aram Vardevanyan told reporters today.

Vardevanyan stated that, for some reason, the authorities have started granting subsidies to agriculture companies and farmers in the Syunik and Gegharkunik Provinces in this period, yet failed to do so in, say, November 2020.

Vardevanyan recalled that, by law, the authorities are obliged to ensure equality and lawfulness during the election campaign.

“Moreover, the OSCE/ODIHR will demand that the authorities refrain from taking actions and making promises that may be linked to the electoral process,” he emphasized.
