President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin says it is necessary to find paths to normalization of relations during his meeting with US President Joe Biden, RIA Novosti reports.

The Putin-Biden meeting is scheduled for June 16 in Geneva.

“We will discuss bilateral ties and try to find paths for normalization of those ties. Today the relations are at an extremely low level. We all know that very well,” Putin said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“I hope we will be able to talk about strategic stability, the settlement of international conflicts at the hottest spots, the processes of disarmament, the fight against terrorism, as well as the fight against the pandemic and environmental issues,” he added.
