Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan, who is on a working visit to the Russian Federation, attended the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, as reported the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia.

Davtyan delivered a speech during the discussion entitled “Trust in Domestic Legislation as a Factor for Economic Development and Protection of Business” and held on the sidelines of the Forum.

The Prosecutor General particularly touched upon the criminal encroachments against businesses through the use of modern technologies and prevention of those encroachments, the current challenges and the mechanisms for the fight that countries are leading for protection of the rights of economic entities.

In this context, Davtyan presented the Armenian practice in countering such manifestations and placed emphasis on the reforms that Armenia has made to protect free economy and investments by law.

The participants of the Forum discussed issues related to the growth of businesses, the universalization of measures to protect the rights of businesses, etc.
