The search for the remains of servicemen (volunteers, reservists) who died during the hostilities and are still considered missing will continue today as part of one rescue squad in the Jrakan (Jebrail) region.

As the State Emergency Service of Artsakh told NEWS.am, starting from November 13, 2020, Artsakh rescuers have been carrying out search and rescue operations in all areas of the territories that came under the control of Azerbaijan.

During the past months, searches were suspended several times for various reasons. From time to time, bodies were exchanged between the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides.

In general, after the ceasefire, 1,557 bodies were found in the territories not controlled by Artsakh.
