The headquarters of the “My Home is Armenia” political party has applied to the Prosecutor General’s Office and Police of Armenia.

The following is stated in the application addressed to the Prosecutor General and the Chief of Police:

“We inform that campaign posters with the number 10 ballot mark and a photo of candidate of the “Our Home is Armenia” political party for Prime Minister Tigran Urikhanyan placed on billboards in apartment buildings in the city of Yerevan.

Over the past few days, representatives of the political party’s headquarters have noticed that the billboards are being damaged with the same handwriting in several buildings. With the same methodology, we are also deprived of our opportunities to campaign by law.

Besides the fact that this is elemental perversion on the part of discredited opponents, this also entails criminal liability. The political party has demanded that the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Police of Armenia take measures, launch a criminal case and hold the guilty liable.”
