Deputy of the ruling My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Hamazasp Danielyan today submitted his resignation letter, as reported on the website of the National Assembly of Armenia.

According to the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, if the deputy retrieves his resignation letter with a written application in the course of one week after publication of the resignation, the Speaker of the National Assembly makes a statement on this. If the deputy fails to retrieve his resignation letter, a record is drawn up on termination of his or her powers and is signed and promulgated by the Speaker of the National Assembly.
