Russian magazine returned Nakhchivan region to Armenia.
In an article about Iran, Atlas: The Whole World in Your Hands, the magazine published map of the region covering Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan and other neighboring states.
On the map Nakhchivan is presented as Armenian territory.
Nakhchivan region was historically part of Armenia. It became part of the Satrapy of Armenia under Achaemenid Persia in 521 BC. Nowadays, some politicians in Armenia claim that Nakhichevan should belong to Armenia.
