Iran tested 14 ballistic missiles on Tuesday during the second day of military exercise.

The missiles with over 2,000 km range were designed by Iranian scientists and defense forces, Iranian media reported.

Foreign media reported Iran’s maneuvers are aimed at showing strength towards Islamic Republic’s enemies Israel and U.S.

“Trans-regional enemies of Iran are only the US and the Zionist regime,” said Aerospace Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

“There is no threat against European countries,” he told IRNA news agency.

Armenia is bordering with Iran in the south. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili recently called on regional states to be vigilant on intervention of “non-regional forces”.

During the meeting with his Armenian counterpart on Monday Jalili  urged to strengthen Iranian-Armenian cooperation which is “an essential factor for peace, security and economic development of the region”.
