A voter in the elections receives 25 ballots with dated numbers 1-26, but the 22nd number is missing because it recused himself, CEC Secretary Armen Smbatyan told the briefing during Central Election Commission on Sunday.
He noted that the voter is obliged to take all the ballots, he cannot take ballots according to his preference. The member of the commission is obliged to provide the voter with all ballots in sequence. Whether it is in increasing or decreasing order, everything must be in order to make it easier for the voter to vote. A voter with ballots and envelopes goes to a booth where he secretly votes. He just has to choose one of 25 ballots and put the one in the envelope.
The member of the commission will use a special hole on the envelope to seal the ballot. If there is no seal, the ballot will be considered invalid, Smbatyan said.
He noted that it is possible to vote on three documents: a biometric passport, a non-biometric passport, and an identification card.
The voter approaches the member of the commission sitting near the technical device, identifies himself, gives a fingerprint, after which he is given a receipt for voting. Servicemen vote in military uniform, Smbatyan said.
