GYUMRI. - Another criminal case over patient’s death on account of doctor’s incompetence is filed to the court in Armenia. Elmira Yegoyan, 38, had a doctor’s appointment at Gyumri’s Clinic Number One on June 18. During the examination, gynecologist Furman Madoyan decides to take a smear from patient’s cervix. But for some reason the doctor starts with an injection of lidocaine. After the injection Elmira Yegoyan fell into anaphylactic shock and died without gaining consciousness. Elmira Yegoyan was mother of four children.
