According to Russian doctors, drugs that strengthen the immune system are dangerous, as they often develop autoimmune diseases, RIA Novosti reported.

As per Alyona Zagrebnaya, chief rheumatologist at the Moscow Healthcare Department, such drugs should be stopped until the patient is examined, and one can start using these drugs only with the respective prescription of doctors.

In addition, allergist-immunologist Vladimir Bolibol explained that such drugs strengthen the immune system, which, however, is not always safe, especially for some people. He stated that these drugs are strictly prohibited in the case of autoimmune diseases. Otherwise, they can irritate the body, thus causing harm.
