Albania will purchase combat drones from the Turkish company Baykar Defense worth EUR 8.2 million.
According to Exit News, the specified amount is allocated to the defense ministry for these purposes in accordance with the draft state budget.
Earlier this month, Interior Minister released a video of his meeting with company representatives and a visit to its factory.
Last year, Albania became the first purchaser of an anti-drone defense system developed by Turkish defense firm National War Technologies Defense Systems Inc.
