US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has called the Vatican a key partner of the United States, La Repubblica reported.
Blinken on Monday received Pope Francis, and their conversation lasted nearly 40 minutes and was held in ‘a friendly atmosphere’.
Blinken referred to the meeting as ‘one of the most important moments in his life’.
