YEREVAN. - Gynecologist Furman Madoyan of Gyumri number 1 clinic, whose incompetence lately caused the death of Elmira Yegoyan, has been trialed previously.

Kapan resident Hasmik Muradyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that two years ago Furman Madoyan’s medical incompetence cost her serious health problems and as a consequence she cannot have children anymore.

Muradyan has filed a criminal case against Madoyan. Her civil suit was completely satisfied and AMD 436,322 was confiscated from Madoyan.

Earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that Madoyan’s ignorance caused the death of Elmira Yegoyan, 38, mother of four children. She died during medical examination, due to lidocaine injection into cervix. After the injection Elmira Yegoyan fell into anaphylactic shock and died.
