Hakob Arshakyan was elected as another of the three vice-speakers of the Armenian parliament, nominated by the ruling Civil Contract party which has 71 seats in the parliament.
Meanwhile, 71 MPs voted for Arshakyan by the results of the secret ballot.
The "Armenia" and "I have the honor" opposition blocs again boycotted the voting on the election of the vice-speaker of the parliament. The National Assembly is to elect another vice-speaker, but this time from the opposition.
