An accident took place Monday morning during a combat shooting exercise at the training center polygon of the Azerbaijani army, Haqqin.az reported, citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
Lieutenant Ilgar Babayev was reportedly killed during the exercise.
The causes of the incident are being investigated.
