Upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister of Armenia and by the decree of the President of Armenia, Zhirayr Poghosyan has been relieved of the post of commander of the first army corps of the Armed Forces of Armenia.
When the General Staff of the Armed Forces issued a statement demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Cabinet in February, Zhirayr Poghosyan had also signed under that statement.
