Artur Sargsyan, the mayor of Sisian city of Armenia’s Syunik Province, has submitted his resignation. His lawyer Emin Khachatryan wrote about this on Facebook.
Wanting to be engaged in the activities of an MP, Sargsyan on Monday submitted a petition to the Sisian Council of Elders on early termination of his powers as the Sisian mayor, Khachatryan informed.
