The air defense forces of Uzbekistan on Sunday suppressed an attempt by an Afghan military plane to cross the Uzbek border illegally in the Sherabad district, a spokesman for the Uzbek defense ministry said, RIA Novosti reported.
As per the ministry, according to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
At the same time, Gazeta.uz noted that two Afghan servicemen were transferred to the Termez city branch of the Uzbek Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Medical Care, TASS reported.
