Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) have secured the visit of 200 pilgrims to Amaras monastic complex, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted in a press release.
"This complex is located near the [border] delimitation line, so the presence of the Russian peacekeeping contingent is necessary," said Daniil Nikitin, a representative of this contingent.
The Russian peacekeepers accompanied these pilgrims from Artsakh capital Stepanakert to the Martuni region.
