The employees of the Sotk gold mine of Armenia were evacuated from the mine area Monday due to Azerbaijani shooting.
Ruzanna Grigoryan, the representative of GeoProMining Gold company which operates this mine, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the night shift of the mine was evacuated.
"Since there were shots, that is why the night shift was evacuated. The workers returned to the mine at around 3am, "Grigoryan added.
