The National Assembly of Armenia today passed, in the first reading, the bill on additional release of water from Lake Sevan. The bill proposes to set the annual maximum quota for release of water from Lake Sevan for the year 2021 up to 245,000,000 cubic meters.
In his speech, secretary of the opposition “Armenia” faction Artsvik Minasyan stated that the faction will vote against the bill since the proposed funds will entail serious economic issues.
