At least 30 soldiers were killed and at least 60 were injured as a result of strikes on Yemen's largest military airbase Al Anad in the province of Lahj in the south of the country, Reuters reported.
According to the agency, Houthi rebels are believed to be behind the airstrikes.
The AI Anad base is located 60 km north of the port city of Aden, considered the country's temporary capital.
