A criminal case has been initiated on the incident of beating Gegham Manukyan, an MP of the opposition "Armenia" Faction of the National Assembly (NA). Special Investigation Service spokeswoman Marina Ohanjanyan stated about this in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am's question.
But the initiation of a criminal case on the basis of the materials prepared on the other incidents that took place in the NA on August 25 has been denied on the grounds of lack of corpus delicti.
