YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan on Friday received Indian Ambassador Kishan Dan Deval, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Ambassador Deval said that taking into account the high-level political, cultural, economic and other relations between the two countries, the Indian side is ready to further deepen cooperation with Armenia in the defense sector, too

The Armenian defense minister, in turn highlighted a number of domains of mutual interest within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of India—and in particular, the technico-military sphere.

Also, in order to increase the effectiveness of Armenian-Indian military cooperation, an agreement was reached to intensify the activities of professional working groups.
