In regard to the justice crisis, I would like to stress that there is a justice crisis in both domestic politics and in the region. This is what third President of Armenia, President of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated during a forum entitled “Republicans, Ongoing Reforms” today.

“It’s not fair when the capitulator who heralded the war and became the reason for defeat still hasn’t been punished for his venture and devastating policy, hasn’t been punished by law and hasn’t been damned by the people who still haven’t recovered from the post-war shock.

It’s not fair when they are trying to dictate the so-called “peace-loving agenda” after taking thousands of lives and depriving thousands of Armenians of their homeland after the aggression.

Taking the opportunity, I would also like to touch upon the recent statements by the leader of Azerbaijan that were devoted to me and Armenia. Not only I, but also the co-chairs [of the OSCE Minsk Group] and the leaders of the respective co-chairing countries remember very well how Aliyev would act in my presence.

Certain forces have served you a gift on a platter, and both you and your father were defeated by the previous three presidents of Armenia on the battlefield and in diplomacy.

You of all people should know well that if there was no shift of power in Armenia with the great support of outside forces, you would never see Shushi and Hadrut.

The issue of Artsakh remains unresolved so long as the status of Artsakh is not clarified and so long as the security of the Armenians of Artsakh is under threat every day and every hour.

I would like to hope that the Armenian people haven’t forgotten about their dignity and rights and the bittersweet lessons of the past millennia and will draw conclusions before it’s too late,” he said.
