Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today sent a congratulatory message to President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades on the occasion of Independence Day.
“On behalf of the Government of Armenia and myself, I cordially congratulate you and convey my best wishes to you and the friendly people of Cyprus on the occasion of Independence Day.
With satisfaction, I state that the Armenian-Cypriot relations, which are hinged on our centuries-old relations and strong friendship, continue to grow with the spirit of fraternity and mutual understanding.
Dear friend, I express my deep gratitude to you, the highest authorities of Cyprus and the fraternal Cypriot people for standing with the Armenian people at this difficult moment and for reaffirming the unconditional support of Cyprus in regard to condemnation of the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression against Armenia. Your sincere and adamant position attests once again to the unwavering friendship of the Armenian and Cypriot peoples.
Armenia and Cyprus will always be committed to expanding and deepening the bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Distinguished Mr. President, I wish you good health and fruitful work, and I wish the fraternal people of Cyprus welfare and peace,” the congratulatory message reads.
