It is inadmissible to start substantive talks with Turkey and Azerbaijan today. Eduard Sharmazanov, National Assembly ex-deputy speaker as well as vice-chairman and spokesperson of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia, wrote this on Facebook.
"Why? I will say…
After the capitulation and because of the capitulators, Armenia is terribly weakened today.
Armenia does not have authorities that serve national interests.
The agenda of Turkey and Azerbaijan is anti-Armenian.
They, just as after November 9, will receive everything from the Armenian side and, instead, will not fulfill their obligation.
The Armenian authorities, just as on January 11, will remain in the role of an observer this time as well.
You cannot hold substantive negotiations with Turks and Azerbaijanis when you are wounded and have no ability to withstand.
There is no peace agenda; there is solely a Turkish and anti-Armenian agenda participation in which will mean the actual collapse of Armenia's statehood," Sharmazanov added.
