On October 1, the Artsakh Defense Army blessed a khachkar consecration ceremony, which was conducted by the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan.

Khachkar was established on the initiative and efforts of the command of the military unit in memory of the Armenian soldiers who died in the 44-day Artsakh war.

President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan, the commander of the Artsakh army Kamo Vardanyan and other high-ranking officials were present at the consecration ceremony.
