There are no time and place restrictions on the meeting [with Azerbaijani president of Ilham Aliyev], as the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have a practice of organizing such meetings. The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, stated this during Monday’s joint news briefing, in Lithuania—and with his Lithuanian colleague, Ingrida Simonyte.

According to him, the only logical limitation is that these meetings take place in a third country.

"My readiness to meet with Aliyev is not new because in recent months, I have welcomed the OSCE Minsk Group statements on the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] conflict’s peaceful and comprehensive settlement based on the principles and elements that are on the table of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

This is not the first time we have announced our readiness for meetings. I hope that will be possible—within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs—to intensify efforts aimed at the settlement of the Karabakh conflict," Pashinyan said.
