The capitals of Armenia and Lithuania will soon be connected by direct flights. The Prime Minister of Lithuania, Ingrida Simonyte, stated this during Monday’s joint press briefing on the results her meeting with visiting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to her, this will enable the peoples of the two countries to get to know each other better.

"Good-neighborly relations have been established between Armenia and Lithuania," the Lithuanian premier stressed.

Simonyte expressed hope that together with Pashinyan, she will be able to do more to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Also, the Lithuanian premier noted that, according to the authorities of her country, the EU organizations should assist in resolving the problems of the region.
