On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan today received the relatives of teachers who died during the war that Azerbaijan unleashed against Artsakh in 2020.

As reported the Staff of the President of Artsakh, the head of state expressed his deep condolences and support and emphasized that the relatives of the deceased teachers will always be in the government’s focus. “The 44-day war took our brave boys and men. Many of your colleagues, students and relatives fought along with those who were dedicated to the homeland. They fell so that Artsakh would remain standing and so that the future generations would continue to live on their native land with dignity,” Harutyunyan stated.

Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Artsakh Lusine Gharakhanyan was also attending the meeting.
