Russian peacekeepers and charitable organizations have provided assistance to the children of a boarding school in Stepanakert, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.

“Today we provided shoes and writing utensils to an orphanage in Stepanakert as humanitarian aid. The humanitarian aid was provided by charitable organizations and was delivered to Stepanakert by the peacekeeping forces,” representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent Sergey Vladimirov said.

There are 19 children at the boarding school in Stepanakert.

The children and the school’s educators expressed gratitude to the specialists of the humanitarian response center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the charitable foundation.

“We provided shoes and writing utensils. There are 19 children with physical and psychological problems. We thank the Russian peacekeepers for the cooperation. We will continue to work together for world peace,” representative of the charitable organization Alesya Podolskaya said.
