Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, on his election to this post. The message reads as follows, in particular:

I am convinced that during your tenure Armenian-Japanese relations will be complemented with new programs and initiatives.

Armenia and the Armenian people are grateful to Japan for its continued support, which plays an important role in the development of our country.

(…) I express my readiness to make efforts to further develop and strengthen the existing ties between our countries (…).
