Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Turkmenistan Ruben Kharazyan yesterday presented his credentials to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov at the presidential palace.

Congratulating Kharazyan on assuming the office of Ambassador of Armenia to Turkmenistan, President Berdimuhamedov voiced hope that the newly appointed Ambassador’s activities will contribute to further strengthening of the friendly relations and effective cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Kharazyan transmitted to the President the greetings of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President Armen Sarkissian and assured that he will put in all possible efforts for further development and expansion of the Armenian-Turkmen cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Kharazyan answered questions from reporters of the state television and news agency of Turkmenistan and, on behalf of the Embassy of Armenia, laid flowers at the mausoleum of first President of Turkmenistan Saparmurad Niyazov and the Independence Memorial.
